Fanjove's appeal is its single intimate lodge concept, with a small number of naturally styled beach bandas and meals included. It is best for travellers comfortable with barefoot simplicity.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
June–October is usually dry and mild; January–February is warmer. The island may pause operations during parts of the long-rain season, so dates should be checked early.

Snorkel, kayak, sail or dive around the island's reef system with the resident team. Daily activity choices respond to tide, wind, visibility and each guest's confidence in the water.

Marine activities are arranged from the island lodge, removing the need for daily transfers. Equipment and specialist diving should be confirmed when booking.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
Ocean conditions change throughout the year. Drier months often bring comfortable beach weather, while individual snorkel and dive sites are selected according to the day.

Sandbanks & Island Wildlife

Visit shifting sandbanks for a picnic, look for dolphins from the boat and notice the island's birds, coconut crabs and seasonal turtle activity. All sightings remain wild and unforced.

Return to the same secluded island base after each excursion. A longer stay creates flexibility for weather and allows genuinely quiet days between activities.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
Sandbank timing is governed by tides; turtle and dolphin encounters vary naturally. We recommend at least three nights so the experience is not dependent on one day.

BEST TIME TO VISIT
June–October aligns especially well with Southern Circuit safari season. Other periods can suit an island-focused escape when flights, lodge operations and weather align.
